5 DAYS, 5 NIGHTS

You can choose your dates. Typically, a family arrives on a Thursday morning and leaves the following Tuesday to make the most of Matakana and its markets. Often families book end their time in New Zealand with a trip to the stunning South Island and other incredible NZ destinations. We can provide some great ideas.

FAMILIES

We cater for families of all shapes and sizes. Parents and kids, blended, extended or combined, our retreats are bespoke to your family’s needs. We are happy to accommodate 2 families who share similar parenting goals. Our activities and experiences suit families with children over the age of 3, however we can adapt for younger siblings.

FOOD

Our focus is on providing healthy, nutritious food with room for flexibility. Having children with allergies ourselves we know too well the challenges of feeding families on vacation! There will be meals at home and out and about. New Zealand has wonderful organic produce that we source locally. Our kitchen is your kitchen should you want to prepare any meals or snacks. We will discuss your family’s dietary requirements before you arrive.

GETTING HERE AND THERE

Flights to NZ from the US and Australia are easy. From the US West Coast it is an overnight flight both ways. There is even a direct flight from New York making New Zealand very accessible for Americans.

Our Aussie neighbours know all too well how easy it is to jump on a plane and cross the ditch.

We can arrange an airport pick up, or you may choose to hire your own vehicle or driver. Once at Bluestone you will be ferried too and from activities and experiences in our Bluestone 7-Seater Landrover or Wolfie our vintage army Defender.
